Fiddle Escape Video

Inspired by a photo set I saw on a famous site, I locked Mrs. Kusco in our 3d printed fiddle, and used a set of leg cuffs to attach the fiddle to one of her ankles. Then, I hung the key to the fiddle above her head. I thought getting the key would be the hardest part, but she grabbed it easily. However, she found that even with a key, actually unlocking a fiddle when you're the one locked in is rather difficult!

For encouragement, I told her if she had to forfeit the escape challenge, the scold's bridle would be staying on for the rest of the afternoon!

First was the challenge of getting the padlock off. It's very difficult to turn the key with your hands bent back like the fiddle requires. More devious though was removing the locking post. The 3d printed locking post fits very tightly. It won't just fall out, it needs to be pushed. I really did think she'd be stuck at this point, but after trying a few different creative methods, like using the handcuff chain to pull down on the post (which didn't work), she finds a method, and is able to escape. But not without giving the fiddle and me the middle finger first, for setting this up in the first place :D

This video is ten minutes long, filmed from two cameras. The video has no watermarks or interruptions like the preview does, and is in 1080 resolution. I took photos at the same time, so there intermittent flash, like in the preview.
